Current Trends In Designer Wear In India And Abroad

Be it the Filmfare Award ceremony, the Grammy award or the Oscars award ceremony, all people are keen to see what the actresses have donned on themselves. Everyone is eager to see what the latest fashion attire is and who the Fashion designer is. It’s known that whether its Hollywood or Bollywood, stars are the trend setters. People tend to replicate their style so that they stand out at events or get-togethers. People always look to see what the so called ‘trend’ is.

It could be a trendy ethic wear especially in India or the sophisticated sheaths in the U.S. Each designer has his own style of creations. Designers who create have their own group of tailor men or tailor women to undertake their designs. It’s easy to make out the difference between  tailor made shirts and a custom tailored shirts. Those who prefer to wear their apparel that fits them well would prefer customized outfit.
Indian designer dresses for women are known for colourful patterns with eye catching designs. They drape themselves in saree for occasions. The colours selected are those that mimic stones and with the use of beads and stones enhance the patterns that are sure to turn an eye again. Selecting sarees or dress for oneself should be such that it complements the skin tone. Like said earlier, designer creates their combination of colours and patterns. It is bit more expensive when compared to non-designer outfits. Source link

Latest clothing trends this summer: For her

You have an invite to an office party. It’s just one week to go and you really cannot decide on what to wear. Another day passes by without you locking down a dress.
Now you have sweat forming over your brow at the mere thought of your crush being present there and looking at you as if you are wearing a banana costume with ribbons.

Chill. It’s universal.
Thing is, new clothes make you feel nice, fresh and confident. And “fresh” is a summer essential. When you haven’t had a wardrobe makeover, you get tired of all the previously worn (umpteen times) dresses and tend to feel dull. And that dullness converts into shivers when you REALLY want to look good.
As you set out to replenish your wardrobe and look for a dress tailor, go through our list of summer essentials & style tips to wow yourself and everyone around (yes, your crush as well).

Lace is the rage
The number one trend that you must not miss this summer – Lace dresses. The rule however is that the lace should be of very high and fine quality otherwise it ends up looking very tacky. A good lace dress is not easy on the pocket and an affordable option is to get them tailor made from a ladies tailor.

Leggings et all
Jeans are forever. Have been and will be. However, one can put them aside for spring, autumn and winter owing to the fact that most jeans are made of heavy and thick fabrics. Summer fabrics need to be breathable and flexible.

Leggings, jeggings and treggings are alternatives sent from heaven. You can battle the heat while keeping your style quotient up as always.

Palazzos – Classic and casual
Palazzos have always been there. Those 70’s Bollywood heroines dancing around trees in pleated palazzos are still etched in the memory of many. The trend didn’t need a comeback. It was always there. Deservedly so, because palazzos can be worn in ways more than one. See for yourself. A wide range of plazzos are available with our designers at Threado.

Maxi length slit kurtas
Fashionistas were wearing it ever since, but what really gave the long overdue attention to this design was Deepika Padukone  wearing it during the promotion of her movie. And we have been obsessed ever since

Rule of the Fashion Bible
Remember girlfriends, the key is to get them tailored for the perfect fit. Ill fitted dresses can look ghastly and are no better than wearing a banana costume at a public gathering.

You can always connect with the best and most experienced women tailors at THREADO, who help you understand what best suits you and what hot these days.
And ofcourse, if you want to keep the awesome men in your life happy , do stay tuned for the next blog which will cover summer style list for men. You can also get stuff made for him (and give him a cute surprise) through mens tailor at THREADO.

Dress for Your Taste and Body Not for the World

“Now let’s look at you, all stuck up and suffocating, absolutely the way it should be.” The exact lines in the minds of a chamber maid as she would dress up her lady in those suffocating corsets, well they say times have changed. But the same can’t be said about the stigmas that we bring upon ourselves, mostly by trying to fit into readymade apparel sold online, instead of choosing an online tailor.

The best argument put forward, “it’s all out there, why reinventing the wheel?” My argument, “your parents should have thought the same and adopted a kid, why reinvent the wheel!”

Don’t forget that God didn’t send a readymade you into the world, you were created and customized to fit in with your kin (even the black sheep of the family carry the genes of someone similar). Same as when you go out to pick your life partner you don’t just make a pick because he or she looked amazing while dating a friend of yours, similar to a garment on a mannequin. You test him, try him and then make your final decision.
‘Well, picking a dress should never be so complicated; we have several other issues lined up.’ remarks a friend of mine and I am sure you must all want to comment something similar; but remember one of these outfits will make or not just break but shatter your reputation.

Those off the peg dresses were designed for people with the standard (read robotic) body figures; we are not all the same kind. You have densely curled hair and all you can do is, be jealous of women with straight hair, I believe its ok to be envious in these circumstances. But in situations where you can be smart, why play the fool?

When you can get yourself a nice costume made that beautifies and compliments your body from an online tailor, why stick to the ready-to-wear options?

Getting a dress designed and customized to your likes has its own perks. First you feel like a confident person, able to make your own statement; second you look like yourself than someone who just follows fashion not sure about what their own style statement is and last but not the least it’s why just don a gabardine because everyone else is wearing something similar from an online fashion store.

I never tried a palazzo just because the world was going gaga over it, instead I got something customized on those lines for myself from an online tailor, because I have thin legs and the least I wanted was appearing like a specter and making a spectacle of myself.

So, while I am making fun of the Victorian women it certainly doesn’t elate my spirits to think that some random blogging blokewill make fun of my era by saying that they dressed like a herd of sheep, creativity and uniqueness was indeed rare.

Made To Measure- The Clothing Trend That Is Slowly Making A Comeback

No two people are exactly the same (Yes, not even twins). Likewise, no two body types are each other’s carbon copy. A piece of clothing will never ever fit two different people perfectly.
You and your body measure clone may buy the same size 36 beige trousers from the nearest Van Heusen store.  However, the visual results may still vary on the kind of beautiful or ugly “fitting” those trouser angels decide to award you with.

The “perfect fit” is like a complicated math equation and Medium (M), Small (S) and Large (L) are not its only components.

There are numbers (body measurements), ratios (hip to waist etc., shoulder to chest etc.) and theorems (forecasting weather a 2 inch shorter sleeve will give the perfect cut or not).
People demanding that “perfect fit” is the prime reason why custom clothing industry is on a steady rise.
Being glad that “made to measure” is finally getting the attention it deserves, we list some reasons on why it is the next big thing.

The perfect fit
While purchasing clothes, we all opt for the perfect fit over everything else. Every time. Because we know how it can make and break the overall “look”. Nobody wants to be “that guy in lousy clothes”. So whenever you are in need of new clothes, just hum this little rhyming reminder in your head (you have the liberty of choosing your own humming tune).
Off-the-rack clothes will never fit you as beautifully as the tailored ones,
No matter how much alteration you get done.

Exclusivity and uniqueness
Tailor made clothes offer you the chance to adorn something that is uniquely designed for you. It also nulls out all chances of disasters such as
“Are you wearing the same gown as Mr. Suri’s daughter? She got it at the off-season discount sale W”.
“How do you know about it?”
“Well, I bought one as well.”
(Inside your head you have already dumped your gown in the “clothes that shouldn’t be worn at a public gathering” pile).

Personalization and preference
Everybody has their quirks. Remember that infamous monogrammed suit that NaMo wore once?
Hey, we aren’t judging.
By “Everybody has their quirks”, we mean EVERYBODY.
The next time you opt for made to measure, you can bring out all your crazy quirks and preferences while getting your tailored suits online.  It leaves a lot of room for personalization.
A design ends up becoming your “own” style , rather than something you mindlessly followed because some Bollywood actor started the trend.

Margin for expansion/reduction
Once you have come to terms with that minor change of your body size, another aspect to worry about is all those expensive clothes that you have in the wardrobe. They will:

  • Either face the doom of being hung on your body in an ill-fitting manner
  • Or be passed over to other people
Off the rack clothes hardly have any scope for alteration.  Those clothing companies WANT you to come shopping for clothes all the time. To top it all, they don’t really understand or bother about the concept of “What if my size changes slightly”.
Your clothes are an investment that makes you look good. They are carefully picked by you in lieu of your hard earned money and time. You must look ensure that any piece you buy has ample scope for alteration.
Custom made clothing is the only option that makes you immune to the clothing hassles caused after a slight change in your body size.

Wide range of fabric selection
Ever thought of the variety of fabrics that are out there? How many of them have you tried?
Custom clothing allows you to experiment with fabrics you have never tried before. Moreover, you aren’t stuck with what some cloth manufacturer at a fashion house decided for you to wear. You have the choice on whether you want that custom shirt online in linen, cotton or any other fabric you may have found worth giving a try.
With all these comforts, we bet you are gung-ho about trying custom made clothing for a change. You can turn to THREADO for starting out with yourcustom clothes onlinemakeover journey.
